After the announcement that the iPhone will come to Canada on July 11th, some people were enthused and some kept their distance, because new plans and pricing weren’t announced. This week, a memo concerning prices was leaked.
I had a chance to go to San Francisco two weeks ago and I brought back an iPhone. I think it was a clever move, especially since US and Canadian currency are pretty much the same. It cost me less than the price of the 16 GB version of iPod Touch in Canada.
Tomorrow, the iPhone launches. Last Monday at 5 A.M., a first person started waiting in line at the Apple Store on 5th Avenue in Manhattan. The lines been growing ever since and one of those people has been blogging about it while waiting. From the quick interviews Rocketboom has conducted with those waiting in line, not all of them are getting the phone for themselves.
