This is one hell of …
This show feels like 24 without the real-time feature. Sara Collins is senator Jeffrey Collins’s wife who disappeared or vanished only a few seconds after she was asked to take a call. FBI agent Graham Kelton …
You know the drill, there will be spoilers in the following, so don’t read if you don’t want to know how the season ends.
Previously on 24…
Bierko escaped and took over a military submarine and planned to launch warheads over US soil. Jack Bauer, Christopher Henderson and some other agent (who will die by the way) are close to the submarine. Over at CTU, Chloe O’brien, Bill Buchanan and Karen Hayes are assisting Jack with the operation.
The following takes took place between 5:00 A.M. and 7:00 A.M.
To sum of the boring part, actually the least interesting part (because nothing about this show is boring) of course, the good team gets rid of Bierko and his men. Hendersen is killed by Jack who goes after the President.
One of the coolest scenes was when Jack confronted Logan in the helicopter. The President kept talking but Jack remained calm and silent. Both actors were very much in-character. It was a nicely done dramatic scene.
During the commercial breaks, I was already expecting Charles Logan to be brought to justice. I was expecting Jack to torture the American President. A President tortured would have looked good on television. I was sad, very sad when Jack said no torture and I thought “Wow, he’s going to get Logan to talk just with his words?” The chances of that happening were pretty inexistant. I also was expecting Jack to get a bullet somewhere, anywhere in Logan’s body, but it didn’t happen and Jack got caught. I just don’t understand why Jack couldn’t just shoot Logan. I’m not talking about killing, but just shooting. After all, Jack did say “Make no mistakes, this is personal“.
The following may contain spoilers of the episode of 24 which aired on May 15, 2006 and the one that aired 7 days before that.
