Apple Magic Mouse
Apple’s new Magic Mouse is certainly slick. It’s like a mobile trackpad. As a Macbook user, the only problem I have with additional hardware is that it’s… additional hardware. I like the all-in-one package that is provided by every laptop. The multi-touch trackpad is already extremely easy to use.
The Magic Mouse may be the first of its kind, but it’s still a mouse and it’s still one more object on the desk. It just came out today and everybody is drooling over it, but I am wondering about the responsiveness of its touch feature, its weight and the amount of dirt it will attract.
I may be a rat in Chinese zodiac, but I’m not a mouse person. I much prefer a Macbook’s trackpad and once in a while, a wacom tablet.
