One Life Teaser
One Life is web series I am preparing for next year. It’s a drama, suspense and thriller. There could be some action too, but I fear that word. I fear it will take the drama away. The reason I started this is mainly because I am sick and tired of seeing shows on the web with hosts. I also find there is a lack of fictitious content with regard to online shows.
One Life can be described by all the words on my whiteboard. The characters will face impossible decisions and the situations will be extreme.
At this point, I am developing the plot as well as the characters. Technology will have its importance and I am sketching the line between fiction and reality. One certainty is that, like most fictitious stories, the technology on One Life isn’t the kind that the public could easily get its hands on, unless you’re rich and well connected.
As I go on with this project, I am finding out that the brainstorming process is ever lasting. It will never stop, so I currently have a bucket filled with fresh ideas that could be used anytime.
I want One Life to be the kind of show which leaves viewers on the edge of their seats, every single second, much like 24, Prison Break and Heroes, although the quality of those shows has somewhat decreased from one season to the next.
I am writing this post not only to tell you my intentions, but also to ask for your ideas. The only thing out of line would be spaceships, aliens and superpowers. I know I mentioned Heroes, but I am disregarding the supernatural side.
Conspiracies, terrorism, treason, religion, theft, secrecy are all topics that can be explored and even though we have seen them before, they remain great ingredients for a great drama and thriller.
