iPhone App: Calendar
A lot of content can be found on the web concerning the iPhone and its App Store. It is no surprise since there has been a lot of hype about it all over the world. Many talk about the App Store, but none talk about the default applications and the changes since the previous versions. Those are really the only useful ones and Calendar is among the ones I use most.
I have moved the Calendar to the bottom, because I consider my calendar to beĀ more important than the phone and I decided to group together applications that support push notifications. The current date is always shown in the calendar when it is closed.
When it is open, it shows the calendar in the view and on the month or day that was previously selected. The interface is very straight-forward. A new feature of the calendar since the previous version is the support for multiple calendars.
I don’t know how it is on Windows, but I can say that Calendar, iCal and MobileMe are working great together, even regarding the calendar colors.
There is still a lot of options missing from Calendar, such as moving an even to another calendar, but the application is rather complete and serves as a great agenda.
