And the Heavens Shall Tremble
In 1997, the video game Diablo was released with the premise of a battle between Heaven and Hell. The playable character is a hero who has to save the world, but becomes corrupted at the end of the game. In 2000, Diablo II was released and picks up where Diablo left off with a new hero who must repair the corrupted hero’s mistake and thus, save the world again. On June 28, 2008, in Paris, France, Diablo III was announced.
Diablo III is set twenty years after the events of Diablo and Diablo II, according to Wikipedia. The mission remains the same: Save the world or perish.
The official website of Diablo III features a cinematic teaser and a gameplay video.
Graphics don’t look much different from the previous games. There seems to be a strong focus on teamwork. A great number of players will certainly form teams on Battle.net. As seen in the gameplay video, the environment will be destructible.
From time to time, I play some small games such as Tetris, Minesweeper and Parking, but I haven’t played a big game like Diablo for a while. Diablo III might just get me going again. The appeal to Diablo really is beating the crap out of monsters and casting magic and spells.
No release date has been set yet, but Diablo III will definitely be worth buying. Yes, buy! Don’t steal! Not this one anyway.

I still remember the first “Diablo”. It was good! Fun!
Graphics were quite archaic, actually, but the game was fun, and that was the important thing!
I watched the trailer of Diablo 3… Not sure if it will be great, (I didn’t like Diablo 2, for example), but I’ll give it a chance, once it appears on the market:)
