The Kill Point
The Kill Point is a drama show starring John Leguizamo and Donnie Wahlberg. This 8-hour series focuses around a bank robbery that turns into a hostage situation. We learn later that the robbers are U.S. soldiers who fought in Iraq and their demands deal with politics and views on war.
John Leguizamo plays Sergeant Jake Mendez nicknamed Wolf, the leader of the robbers. Donnie Wahlberg plays Captain Horst Cali, a successful negotiator whose sole focus is to save lives even if it means disobeying orders. As hours pass by, both of them make deals; Wolf releases a hostage and Cali gives them food and drinks. All that goes well until Wolf doesn’t get what he wants and threatens to kill a hostage.
By the end of the pilot episode, there is a lot of tension as Cali becomes secondary negotiator because an FBI agent died and they want to take control. Also, nobody knows that Platoon 1013 is about to get back in action.
The Kill Point is a great show and there are eight hours that can not be missed.
