Hide-It
Back when I used Windows 95, someone introduced me to a program called Hide-it. It allows you to hide programs from the taskbar. As you can imagine, I used it mostly to hide porn when necessary.
Today, I’m not surfing for porn, but I still found myself in a situation where I have to hide some stuff. It’s simple: I have a bunch of windows that I want to keep opened, but I need room to open more windows without having to increase the height of the taskbar.
I looked up Hide it and there it was, this little piece of software I was using in 1996. It still works very well in Windows XP.
