4-Hour Season Premiere of 24
WARNING: In what I am about to write, even though I try to write without spoiling, there may be spoilers for people who haven’t seen the 4-Hour Season Premiere of 24. You have been warned.
This is one hell of a premiere. It covers 6 A.M. to 10 A.M. A premiere hasn’t been this good since the first two seasons. You probably already know that not one hour should be missed.
Every character that didn’t die last season is back. Some are added and some are going to die. Actually, a lot of people are going to die during this premiere but that’s true for almost every episode, but I believe this premiere is going to set a new record.
This is a horrible season premiere, not in the sense that it sucks, but in the sense there are a lot of bad things happening from 6 A.M. to 10 A.M. It’s non-stop drama.
In the spirit of not spoiling too much, there even is music specially made to add drama to the part where Jack kills somebody and when something big happens to some place. You’re going to have to watch to know what should be replaced by somebody, something and some place.
Sometimes during this premiere I got the feeling that Keifer Sutherland is not going to be on 24 anymore and they are trying to make it less painful to see him leave the show, so they are not just putting a bullet in his head.
The bottom line: Don’t miss a second of this season premiere.
