Finding a Superman logo Drawing a G à la Superman G final result

A friend recently asked me to make a Superman logo, except that instead of an S, it should be a G that would stand for Genetics. It sounded stupid. It reminded me of the time I made the cover page of a document to look like a movie poster, but the document had nothing to do with movies.

I took the project anyway and did it, because I expected that it wouldn’t take too long and I had never done anything like this before.

I started looking for various Superman logos, then I put a paper on the monitor and drew over it. The result is the second thumbnail above. I opened that in Photoshop and simply added the colors.

It wasn’t one of the quickest things to do, but the process is simple from beginning to end.

long i like your superman logo. i was trying to make one like that but unfortunately i lack photoshop skills. if you have spare time could you pls make me one at high resolution with a letter J

The last time someone asked for a letter, I asked for $50 and the person ran away. I would ask for the same price for individual letters.

If anybody asks for several letters at once, I will do a package deal.

I would also draw the 26 letters of the alphabet for $1000. 26 times 50 is 1300.

This should clear things up. It took a lot of time to do this.

Hi, I was looking to find idea’s for my son’s 3rd b-day party invite and came accross your work. Hello Long,
I was searching the web for a superman logo but with the letter “j” inside and another with letter “e” inside. I somehow stumble upon your site. I am throwing a birthday party for my son’s birthday and his theme is superheroes. I woud love to be able to print the logo on a t-shirt and wear on the day of his 1st birthday. Hello Long,
I wanted to know how much do you charge for a superman logo with the letter “J” and could it be made into a stencil i wanted to decorate my sons room the idea is to stencil it on his wall and paint with glow in the dark paint. I’m in Atlanta, GA area.
