Soundtrack: Superman Returns (2006)
15 tracks. 55 minutes. That is how long it takes for the Man of Steel to return.
This wouldn’t be Superman’s soundtrack if it didn’t include John Williams’ Main Title with what I consider to be Lois Lane’s theme. If you have seen the trailer for the movie, you know how this track starts. The track ends with grandeur.
The following tracks follow each other gracefully. As I listened to them, I could feel the story unfolding.
The last five tracks are brilliantly orchestrated.
John Ottman, the composer, has worked on many soundtracks including those for other superheroe movies like X-Men 2 and Fantastic Four.
